This review is from: Shakespeare Xterra Bigwater Combo, 7-Feet (Sports) This is my little rod. I have two 8 foot Alpha Bigwater's that I string heavier line on. I've replaced the included 14 pound monofilament with Zebco 15 pound braid. It's accounted for about 5 catfish in the 4 times it's gone fishing so far. Rod has a good feel to it, reel is more than adequate. When it wears out I'll probably get another. Good cheap way to get back into fishing after a long time away.
